Traditional Greek Dance Program

Classes start Wednesday, September 15, 2010, 3:15 pm.

Ages 6 to 9 -- Wednesdays, 3:15 to 4:15 pm

Ages 10 to 14 -- Wednesdays, 4:15 to 5:15 pm

Ages 6 to 10 -- Saturdays, 1:30 to 2:30 pm

Ages 11 to 16 -- Saturdays, 2:30 to 3:30 pm

Dance instructor Jenny Melahoures will again be leading our Greek Dance program.

Ms. Melahoures, an experienced dancer and instructor of Greek traditional dances, founder and leader of Dionysos Dance Group will again be directing the Academy’s dance program starting September, 2010.

She will oversee all activities in the program along with teaching after school classes for kids and adults. Ms. Melahoures believes that these classes will serve a two-fold purpose: teaching the basics of our folk dancing and finding the talent that will form the foundation for creating a dance group able to perform at various Academy functions, as well as at community events and festivals.

After school classes for kids and adults will be held at the Academy every Wednesday starting on September 15, 2010 and every Saturday starting on September 18, 2010.

Classes will form with a minimum of six and a maximum of 20 students.

Yearly tuition, payable upon registration, is $125.
